Reprint Policy

You are welcome to quote, link to, and otherwise print and disseminate our articles, as long as you attribute the article—and the information contained within—to THISisCarpentry.com.

At lot of thought, consideration, and time goes into the way we edit and lay out our articles. As such, we ask that reprints respect the original article layout and design as much as possible, in order to reflect the integrity of our magazine.

For example: Anyone is welcome to print out our articles for their personal use. If you want to distribute or otherwise present the article to others in a public forum, we ask that you print directly from the original article, and that “THISisCarpentry.com” be clearly visible on each page, so that the reader/audience will know where the article came from.

Another example: If you want to reprint one of our articles on your website, please do your best to reproduce the layout and design (like the placement of photos and images) of the original article. We also ask that you link back to the original article.
